The short version
Daniel spent his early career as a Paratrooper before retraining as an electrician and going out on his own in civvy street.
What carried over from the Army wasn’t anything dramatic - just the boring, useful part. Turn up when you said you would. Do the job to the standard it’s supposed to be done to, whether or not anyone’s going to check. Clear up after yourself.
FAC Electrical is his own business, not a franchise or a booking service with a van on the side. He owns it, he quotes it, and he’s the one who turns up and does the work. Most of it still arrives the way it always has: someone passes his number on.
On price
A high standard is the default here, not an upgrade you pay extra for. If money’s tight, say so - Daniel would rather scope the job to what you can actually spend than talk you into more than you need.
What doesn’t flex is the standard of the work itself. With electrics, that isn’t the part you negotiate on.
